Collections of this Month

As the post title says, this months collections are truly a wonderful and remarkable collections of her talking moments. I should say that Thamizhini's daddy has done a wonderful job this time. Generally he only capture most of the videos, but I feel this time it is full of her conversations. I guess now Thamizhini has her own complete vocabulary to use.
Naan romba sogusu!
Check out the below video, how she is discussing with her dad about all the toys which were there in that book. I can say that her patience has increased and that is clearly shown on all her videos. You would find one interesting factor at the end of this below video. As usual Nalin was asking his favorite question. I hope that everyone knew about his question. Yes, it is all time favorite for all parents. And she replied "Amma thaaan pidikum" :-) Check out how she convinces her Dad once he felt sad for her answer.

The below video also about her conversation. She actually answers all our questions without rethinking for a minute. Somehow, Somethings go to her mind and that come out from her mouth. This is all I could say by seeing this video.

These days she knew that if she fall down, she will get blood! So whenever she fall down, she will come to us and tell that "Amma (ra)laththam (for blood) varuthu paaru". You could have seen the same sentence in the above video too. Don't forget to checkout her expression when she tells that she fall down and got hurt. Yeah, very much naughty and action queen!

Whats up with Bharatanatyam?

We have brought this cute Shalwar kameez for Thamzihini for her birthday and we wanted to check whether it is in her size. We made her to wear the new one and check out her expressions.
Howz my Bday dress?
She was so happy to wear that Shalwar kameez and more than that she loved that Dupatta. You could see that she was holding her Dupatta with her neck. :P

Amma, Dupatta vizhathu illiya?
Also once she completely wore this dress, she started doing Bharatanatyam steps. Yeah She could relate the costume with Bharatanatyam, as our apt kids used to wear Shalwar kameez while practicing.

Check out her Bharatanatyam steps. Yeah, same old and not much improvement, I guess here kids were on vacation hence Thamizhini could not learn any new steps :P

Affectionate Darling (பாசக்காரி) - 2

Cuddles, Hugs and kisses are a perfect cure for all!

I have read somewhere that the above three words boost kid's health, confidence and  their mood on everything.  I'm sure I have done many gentle rubdowns when she was small and I knew she liked and enjoyed it. Cuddling and hugging are always part of our every day. Even though she does not like to hug and cuddle us sometimes, I pull her and do that. then she loves it. If she is too much happy for something, she kisses and hugs us. And if we are not happy for her, she knows how to convince us.
Check the below video how she consoles me when I say that "I don't want to be here and would like to go to Ammayi". I really liked her reaction (especially 1:57) when I told this. :-)

She likes to offer kisses and hugs to me any time whenever I want and whenever she wants, but it is limited to her dad. And sometimes never to her Grannies. Hmm.. think about outsiders. She never does it. Very rare that she kisses and hugs them. Even though we ask her to do that, she will not. It is totally depending on her mood and in that cases flying kisses would work and of course a high five too!

Check out the below video that how she threatens us saying that she will beat us. Actually me and Nalin were talking something and in-between she came and was telling not to talk. Look out her body language! And of course at last a tight hug consoles everyone. :-)

Check out the below video how she kiss the boy doll which has been kept in a shop for showcasing the cloths for boys. And check out how she gets shy after kissing that doll! Lovely cuddly darling !!!

Anniversary Dinner @ Restaurant

Last year we had a fantastic anniversary celebration in my Anna's house. This time I was totally busy with my office work and we did not even find time to go out and do some shopping for the special day. But we somehow made time to have dinner at outside.

Thamizhini was not knowing why we are going for temple, and why do we have food outside. She should have thought that yet another day at Restaurant. :P Thamizhini was eagerly waiting to go out and have food. These days she nicely asks us to go to Hotel for dinner.
Lovely smile from my daughter!
I was just asking Balaji to take us to somewhere where we have not been. And finally we deiced to go to Barbeque Nation at T Nagar for Dinner. As it was on weekday,  we could easily get table for 4. I was not very sure how Thamizhini likes food at BBQ nation, so I fed her an Apple while we were waiting for the table. So Thamizhini was quite happy as she was not much hungry there.
Happiness to the core
Once we got in, Thamizhini selected her chair and sat on it. The waiter helped her to have napkin in place and she was happy to have the napkin with her. And we all got busy in eating. Yeah, Thamizhini too! She was asking me like, "Amma athu venum.... Amma chicka, Amma fish....!" Hmm.. She did not like to taste any veg items there :P Amma pola :D"
I can take it by myself
The one interesting thing which I want share here is her eating manners. Even we astonished by seeing her table manners, My God, she does everything as Pro. Takes spoon full of sauce puts her on the corner of her plate and keeps the spoon back, ask us what she wanted and have cup in her hand and eats cleanly!
This is how I eat. I'm grown up now.
Check out the below one. Clicked on the same day at home when Thamizhini was having lunch. Compare with the above one.
Oh! Amma, you added this photo here. Anyhow, those who see this photo: This is how I eat at home.
Check out the video.. We loved those moments. We never thought that she would be neat this much in dinner table.

Collections of this Month

We need not teach anything to Thamizhini, She talks, asks, commands and sometimes shouts at us. Makes big sentences and talks nicely, then what? Here you go with this months collection.

When we talk about her playing activities, utensils come first in order. As if no toys at home, she steps into kitchen and get all utensils to play, that too, not small items, all big big vessels. She had stopped it for quite some time, and again she started recently. She keeps all her utensils in the middle of the hall and cooks. Check what does she make?

She somewhere got one tiny star and that day she slept with that only. She was having it in hand and tells all things related to the star. Check out the video how she was telling her Dad about that star. She was telling that "star mele irukum" and "athu bodhuk bodhuk nu parkum" I'm sure she is telling about how it glitters. Also started singing "Twinkle twinkle"!

These days she never likes to return home after playing in the park. Run, Play, Run, Play Run and Play!  Yeah, Its true. And after coming home, she complains that her legs started paining. Check out the video how her tone while telling "Kaal Valikuthe"!

Thamizhini's Athai birthday was approching in the second week of this month, and Balaji wanted to capture her saying "Happy Birthday Athai". And he somehow made it and sent across to his sister. I posted a separate video that explains how Balaji beaten up by Thamizhini while getting this video.

Photo Edukathe! (Don't take picture)

Clicking photo is prohibited at home. Seriously! But who made this rule? Any guess? Yes, our lovable daughter. These days she does not like to pose for photos. It is very tough to capture her activities as videos and as she speaks fluently, she commands us not to take pictures / videos.

Check out the below video, how she fights with her Dad. She was really angry on her Dad and cried, then pulled that camera from his hand.

Sweetest Darling (பாசக்காரி) -1

I love you - This is the affectionate sentence we talk to her. Thanks to her Daddy for teaching this wonderful words to her and that makes wonder on ourselves everyday. I always wanted to build warm and close attachments with my daughter and of course that is the basis for every relationship. Even though I go for work, I always make sure that she does not miss me. In turn our sweet pie returns with her unconditional love always.I cherish every cuddling moment with her and when she tells that three words with the extra long hugs and tight kisses, I feel a divine vibration. I swear!

Our bed time is always wonderful except few times when she is cranky! Otherwise we like to talk, like to tell Kakka stories or we simply fight for catching my hair! :-( She is habituated for holding my hair when she sleeps, when she cries and sometimes when she got bored with her toys. Yeah, It is really irritating me sometimes, but I could not find anyways to solve this.

Sometimes If I act like crying and saying that I want that and this, she comes close to me by clapping her hands, hugs, pat me on her shoulders and tells "Amma, mudi pidchiko, Azhathe!". And sometimes she likes to sing lullaby also for me and Though she gives me a choice of two, I can not choose the other, she likes to sing whichever she is comfortable with.

And whenever we say something like, oh! I have headache or my leg is paining, she will come and massage. And the ultimate thing is, she will say, "Appa thungunga, thungina sariya poidum". Yeah, she repeats what we tell her! Paasakkari!

Clever Conversation

Thamizhini is not well for past two days and she is suffering from severe cold and fever. And whenever she gets cold, i get in another 2days. That is a unwritten rule. Grrr.....

As she is not well, she could not sleep for long hours, and what else, woke up in the mid night and started playing. Her Appa accompanied her while I was asleep and he captured the below video. They both were playing and talking. Check out the video how Thamizhini cleverly talking.

When he showed this video in the morning, I could not stop laughing at her and seen that video more than 10 times. Actually she was having a lotion bottle (for mosquito bites) on her hand and playing with that. Her Appa was asking like "What are you doing?". She was talking very clearly and cleverly, but she did not answer her Dad's question and just passed time.

She cleverly replied "Naana, Utkarnthutu iruke (I'm sitting)" and also in that video she imitated how Naren (Thamizhini's friend) look at her.

Beaten up!

I have nothing much to describe about this video, but you might have much to tell once you see the video below:

Nalin was simply laying and asking the ever favorite question of all the parents: "Ne Appa thangama? Amma thangama?" Thamizhini was saying both, appa thangam amma thangam. But he wanted only one and his favorite answer, so he was keep on asking her. And suddenly our little one got angry on him, I guess she would have noticed that mobile camera and started beating him up. I'm very much happy to see this video and thought to myself that, at least she could do that :D

Collections of the Month

Here it goes this month videos:

I don't know but somehow I got habituated using dryer to dry my hair after head bath. But that is not the topic which I'm gonna post. By seeing me, Thamizhini got to know how to use that. Whenever she bored of all her toys, she directly goes to the place where the dryer kept and takes in hand.  One day I was sitting on the hall and asked her to get comb for me to comb my hair. That day actually I had head bath but did not use dryer to dry my hair. But my cute darling went inside the room and coming back with dryer and comb.

I feel from the month of March, she started talking to much. But in this month her mouth never stopped even while having food. Talking Talking and Taking only. She started saying about what others do like, Ayaah paduthu thoongranga, Amma sapadu ootuunga and so many big words. In the below video she was telling that her dad is clicking Photo.

Thamizhini is again back with "Bharatanatyam". I hope these days, the Apt kids are learning below steps. That is how Thamizhini learns. :P

Check out how Thamizhini and her Dad play Cricket at home. He has brought a bat and ball and from that day, Thamizhini is sleeping, eating, playing with them only.

I think Thamizhini is so expressive in either way, crying mood or happy mood. If she is so happy, comes to me or her Appa and cuddles nicely. Also as she started talking, she always says Love you so much, Amma pidikum / pidikale kinda words. If she does somthing wrong, and if we are angry on her, she says Sorry, Paappa te  va, Thol -mele pottukare, as if she is consoling us. Sometimes she treats us as kid and says  azhathe, paapa te va, toys intha, paal venuma? Check out how she coos with me when she wants something.

Potty Time

As I said earlier, Thamizhini is very proper using Potty whenever she needs. She tells us or she directly runs to potty to suchu  / poop. Sometimes she is very much adamant when we say to use potty for peeing, but she runs to potty when she wants to use for poop. And these days her routine got changed and at night before going to sleep she wants to use once. But I doubt whether she really wants to use, because we switch off all lights when every one is ready to go to bed. She does not like this, so she wants one reason to switch on the light. Sometimes this will be even after one hour that she has gone to bed. Grr....

Check out what she has done while using potty:

She likes to see "Jingu Jingu" song from "Myna" and knows how to do that dance step. By seeing the song for many times, she is habituated for doing that step. Thamizhihi's Aaya was worried and asking me like "Enna kannu, Thamizhini appdiye pannitu iruka" by seeing her doing that.

She likes to have one or the other book or some toy in her hand when she uses potty. Check out how she reads Kudumba malar book:

Torturing Toys

Thamizhini's interest on each toy stays for maximum of 2 days. After that she is bored of the toy and she will not turn her head that side except for some of her all time favorites. She handles toys nicely, but once she gets angry or gets cranky, that is it! Sturdy toys stay back.
My new doggy toy!
We have bought a new doggy to her when we went for shopping. She was not leaving the toy even in Car while coming home, she was just holding in her hand. Even after reaching home, she takes it every where, where ever she goes.
Doggy, give pose!
Following are some of the scenes that we captured!
Mammu Sappidu!

Thoongriya? Aaraaro Ariraroo Kanne!
Doggy Dance!
Hey! Come for walk!
She is got a habit of throwing old ones, once she get something new. Check out the below picture. A sample.
Ah! New toy...!! (Check where is doggy?)
This doggy can dance. Check out how Thamizhini and Dog are dancing.

Collections of the Month

As Thamizhini is growing bigger, talking more and does lots of activities, we capture more videos than pictures these days. I was just wondering what to post and what not. But at last I came to a conclusion that I write a post with all videos in the end of the month with little description and narrate more about video in a separate post if the video deserves for it. Howz that!

I liked this video a lot. We taught "Miyaav" sound to her and she was just saying everywhere. Particularly on this day, we were just clicked her "Zinga" dance and I was seeing that from mobile and she danced by seeing that for some time. While resting, some how she remembered "Miyaav" and was telling me. When she does this to her dad, he says "Bayama iruku da" and she came to me by telling "Appa ke bayama iruku". I love the way she tells and she knew that her Dad is a brave fellow and will not fear for anything, but fears for Miyaav.

Check out how she tells "Thamizh" and more importantly "Pammunu Iru, Paappa Azhuva", Pammunu Iru, means Kammunu iru.

We captured below video when my bro visited here this month. He has to dance and has to do lot of funny things to attract Thamizhini, then only Thamizhini will think of moving out with him. Check out how her mama is taking horse ride on him. More than this, she is much comfortable with her Ammayi's horse ride. In this video she did not do, but you can check, how she jumps on her Ammayi's back.

She loves to eat "Watermelon" and this is how she looked after eating that. And check out how she drools and tells about it.

We have a habit of "Suthipod"-ing for Thamizhini. Even though we do work in a IT company and knows cutting edge Technology of everything, we can't avoid these kinda formalities. Thamizhini likes to do this and check out how she does and tells them. I love the way she tells "Pisachu Kannu". Credit goes to her Ammayi for teaching all kannus and at last the word "Odi Po" !

The below one is same as above, but check out her expression in the last frame. Is it called "Style" ?

Funtime with Daddy

Thamizhini would get great stomach painful laugh when she plays with her Dad. No matter what he does, but she loves to laugh at his each actions. And this time with a bublegum.

Check out the below video, how they both play and how Thamizhini's cranky mood gets in. Yes. I'm sure at last Nalin got pain in his mouth. :P I was enjoying this video and likes to see now and then, because Thamizhini is doing left and right on her Dad. :

Thamizhini's Dictionary

Thamizhini's verbal power is increasing like anything, my goodness, I never thought that Thamizhini could remember these many words. Also she is much expressive when she talks.

Following are some sentences that she is using most these days:

If she is having something and if we ask that she says: "Don't touch, Paappa azhuva"!

If I ask her to come for bath, she simply says: "Don't touch"!

My mom was very busy in kitchen doing dishes, I asked her like "Ammayi enna panranga?" She says "Ammayi velai panranga!"

If tell her like sit properly or else you will fall down, She replies like "Paapa bathrama utkrandhrke". Check out the below video how she tells.

If we make her to sleep in "Thuli", she asks us, "Amma paatu paadu" and if we sing something, then she says "Antha paatu vena, Araaro ro paadu"

Her daddy taught her to say "Love you so much" and as a reply "me too". She just passes by and comes closer, gives a hug and tells, "Amma me too, me too"! I was surprised to hear "Me too" and asked her "what is me too?" She says "Love you so much, me too!"

Check out the below video, how she talks and tells "Please". She says, "Amma please ma" and sometimes pleads "Amma 2 minutes please"! Her Ammayi was shocked to hear "Ammayi 2 mins" when she was playing in Slide.

If we get angry on her for her naughtiness, she calls us by clapping her hand and tells "Paapa te va, va, Thole -le paduthuko" and tells "Sorry"

I could still remember the below incident, that time she was not talking proper words but she was able to call us like Amma, Appa and etc.  One day her Apuchi and she was playing in the hall. While playing her apuchi told "Doooo" and added that he won't talk with her. Any guess, what she had done, She came to me and tells "Amma, Apuchu dooo...." But these days, she tells, Amma Apuchi pesa matengranga, Do vidranga.

Check out how she talks with her Apuchi, She was trying to explain the aeroplane that she has just seen.

I don't know what she found in this video, but some how she got interested on this song. These days she always asks for this song and more interestingly, she loves to Dance for this song. Check out her Kuthu Dance.

Kids Day out!

It is really fun when kids play together, not only for them. But for the parents too! Yeah, me and my friend Sharmila along with our kids (Thamizhini and Yuthika) had been to "Toys Day Out", which is a play area located near by our flats. Kids were enjoying so much. Thamizhini was bit reluctant when she started playing, but once settled, they were not listening to our words. They both play on their own.

Hiya Jolly -a iruku
It was quite a long time that we had met! So even we had some time to chit chat when they were playing.
Mommy & Daughter!
This was a small pent house, where babies(toy) sleeping on the cradle. Thamizhini had no idea about it, but Yuthika was in a good form. She was taking baby in one hand and feeding bottle in other hand and telling to baby to drink! It was really a wonderful fun to watch her. She was not ready to move other place as she is settled with that baby doll.
Amma, Look at yuthi....!!! Baby-eh Kezhe pottuta!!!
Look at the pictures how they were enjoying on the ball house. They were playing as if no one is there to disturb them.
Enga area, Ulle varathe!
We have captured some videos too! Sharmila was bit tired to manage both of them in the ball house. Check it out!

In the last minute, Nalin too joined and he captured the below video:

Now I know my A B C !

Well, Everything started in ABC song. When Thamizhini was around 2 to 3months, we used to talk with her always. Yeah, simply we try to interact with her. If we simply sit idle or if we don't talk to her she will start crying. And mainly while giving bath, I must be active to talk than to give bath.
Amma, I'm gonna play on this!
I used to talk anything which comes to my mind and I'm sure that will not have to be related to previous topic. Only thing is that she wants to listen something. Some times I sing songs to her. She loves "Mukundha Mukundha" from Dasavatharam very much. She would be very active, in the sense, she would be smiling at me and she would throw her legs very fast, when I sing this song to her. And later I started singing ABC song and after sometimes started saying one, two three by showing my fingers. She will just see my fingers and my mouth. :-)
I know how to use books.

Now as she grown up, she knows how to play her ABCD toy to sing a song for her and she likes to play with alphabets too. We have alphabets and initially she likes to play on that, play in the sense, just open the box then drop them top down. She never tires to arrange it at all, but later we started showing her alphabets board where she can keep them in their respective place.

Whenever she gets bored of herself, she used to go and get her board, then play on her own. I hope you would have watched, how Thamizhini uses books. She just turns page as if a Pro, who have read more than hundred books. I like that style and she handles  books nicely. But sometimes, when she gets angry or when she feels naughty, she used to throw or stand on the book.
Amma, Look at it, I'm done.
As it became her usual game, she started knowing the alphabets, and now she knows min of 15 letters. She does not know in order, but when she sing the song, she does it. But while playing, she picks any alphabet and places it on the board. She knows where to place the alphabet, even if she does not know what alphabet is that. When we ask an alphabet which she does not know where to place it, she looks at the alphabet in my hand, then looks at the board and compares with the image, finally she places on the correct place.
