Sweetest Darling (பாசக்காரி) -1

I love you - This is the affectionate sentence we talk to her. Thanks to her Daddy for teaching this wonderful words to her and that makes wonder on ourselves everyday. I always wanted to build warm and close attachments with my daughter and of course that is the basis for every relationship. Even though I go for work, I always make sure that she does not miss me. In turn our sweet pie returns with her unconditional love always.I cherish every cuddling moment with her and when she tells that three words with the extra long hugs and tight kisses, I feel a divine vibration. I swear!

Our bed time is always wonderful except few times when she is cranky! Otherwise we like to talk, like to tell Kakka stories or we simply fight for catching my hair! :-( She is habituated for holding my hair when she sleeps, when she cries and sometimes when she got bored with her toys. Yeah, It is really irritating me sometimes, but I could not find anyways to solve this.

Sometimes If I act like crying and saying that I want that and this, she comes close to me by clapping her hands, hugs, pat me on her shoulders and tells "Amma, mudi pidchiko, Azhathe!". And sometimes she likes to sing lullaby also for me and Though she gives me a choice of two, I can not choose the other, she likes to sing whichever she is comfortable with.

And whenever we say something like, oh! I have headache or my leg is paining, she will come and massage. And the ultimate thing is, she will say, "Appa thungunga, thungina sariya poidum". Yeah, she repeats what we tell her! Paasakkari!

Funtime with Daddy

Thamizhini would get great stomach painful laugh when she plays with her Dad. No matter what he does, but she loves to laugh at his each actions. And this time with a bublegum.

Check out the below video, how they both play and how Thamizhini's cranky mood gets in. Yes. I'm sure at last Nalin got pain in his mouth. :P I was enjoying this video and likes to see now and then, because Thamizhini is doing left and right on her Dad. :

Appa's Birthday

Today is my daddy's birthday. This is his second birthday with me. :P

I know, for this birthday, Appa has got many gifts from Amma, I don't know why she gave that much. Ok Appa, Anyhow from my side, I can just wish you with a message. But my wish is precious than Mom's, because I struggled a lot to learn this, "Aappy Bothday Balji Pa". Thank you Amma for teaching me this.
Appa, Are you Ready? We are!!!
It was a wonderful birthday celebration that I have ever seen (???)  in my life (yeah, for 18months). I have gone to many birthday celebrations, but they were all too crowded and much noisy too. They burst balloons and do some kind of sparklers. This all makes me scary always, hence I generally do not like to go to Birthday parties. May be knowing this, Amma planned Appa's Birthday at home. Oh! So, do you think, If I don't get scared Amma would have thrown a huge party? Na.. Na.. She would have just cut the cake by placing in a chair itself. Check out my daddy's last birthday celebration, and even my mom's too, for how they celebrated.
Appa, after cutting cake, please gimme these balloons.
Amma decorated the hall with "Happy Birthday" stickers and Balloons. I know what you must be thinking now? Did I allow her to do this? Hmm.. Amma knew me, and she completed this before I return from Park. When I entered home, I was so excited to see the stickers and tried jumping to catch the them. But Amma told me that I have to drink Complan to grow double in size. :P So I left the idea of jumping and started asking Amma to help me out.
Well Set for cutting cake.
As usual Appa came little late than planned, and he did not realize the decorations after he entered home. Yeah, he is not like me. :D But once he saw it, he was so happy and excited than me. I was wondering who is kid here, either me or my dad. He was that much delighted and happy to see Birthday Cake too. Till then everything was ok, but once I saw the birthday caps, I felt frighten. I know, to encourage me and not to get scared anymore by seeing birthday parties, Amma bought these caps and planned in this way.
Appa, Ready, 1-2-3 Happy Birthday to you....
Amma placed a candle on top of the cake and when it was lighted, it sang a happy birthday song. Once the song was over, he blew off the candles and cut the cake. I ask Amma to upload the videos too, in that you can see, how long he took to cut the cake.  Yeah, really! But at last, he finished cutting the cake and he fed me little bit of cake. As I was scared to see the birthday caps, Appa removed the cap from him. Yes, then only I went to him to taste the cake.
Hmmm... Nice taste.
Hmm.. What for I was waiting till then? :-) any idea / any guess? To taste the cake? No... No... No... To get the balloons and stickers in hand. But Amma gave me only balloons and any idea what happened to those stickers? Hmm.... She did not give it to me and stored it for next birthday :-(

Happy Birthday Once Again Appa!!! and Thanks for reading :-)

With Lots n Lots of Love,
Thamizhini.

Who is Lion?

Check out the below video to know who is Lion? There are two parts, good and bad!

Thamizhini's most attracted and interested book is Animals & Birds, she likes to see the picture and used to ask about the animal / birds. And we would say her like, this is Dog and barks like "Bow Bow", this is Cow and makes "Mmmmaaaaaaaaaaaa" and so on. Likewise her Dad had told, "This is Lion" and told how it makes sound. I don't know how to write that sound, but I'm sure you would have heard from the video.  Also her Dad had told that, "This is Appa" and he used to ask her, "Appa Yaaru" and my sweetie points out the Lion picture and says "Lion... Singam". Before she started speaking she used to point out picture, but now as she could speak, she tells always "Appa Singam" and "Athu Lion, Appa", even though there is no book to point out. I'm sure she is used to for that question. And as you all know, there is no doubt that this is the good part!

Now coming to opposite side of the first part: While explaining the animals and their sounds, he came across "Monkey (orangutan)" and told "This is Amma". And ofcourse she is attached to it. Whenever the monkey page comes she points out orangutan and says "Amma... Amma..." :-( Nalin feels bad that he could not capture this funny moment. :-D

Fun time with Daddy

Dads are always famous for rough playing and Nalin is no different from them. He does / tries all the ways to make Thamizhini laugh. He sometimes makes loud and scary noises just to get a mad laugh from her. It is all for ONE reason that he wants to make a tight bond with his daughter. And there's no doubt that our little one is fascinated to see him playing roughly! Check out the video to know how they both play.

These days Thamizhini is much attracted to books. She gets her book in hand and talks something with that. She has "Brown Bear Brown Bear, What do you See?" and this is the one, her Dad must read to her whenever she wants. Because the book is very much Picture Perfect and It is made up of bold colored collage of animals.

I'm Born with this book!

She likes to see Green Frog, Gold Fish and White Dog much. Her dad asks questions like "Where's the dog?" or "Where's the eyes of Frog?" and shows her where it is. So next time when we move to the same page, she voluteriley tells us the parts that we have shown her last time. There is Gold Fish in the book and we taught her like "inge oru fish and ange oru fish" by showing our hand to the neighbors house as they have small fish tank. Thamizhini use to see that whenever we cross the house. So next time when she sees the Fish in book, she used show her hand to the neighbors house too! Yeah! she remembers it!
Appa, See long legs...!!!
Also her Daddy plays differently from me, so Thamizhini enjoys more and she knows that each one has their own play styles and she expects as per that. Whatever it is, but I can say that Thamizhini enjoys reading, whether we sit down with a picture book or read the same book over and over again.

Amma, tell me what story you want, I will read for you!!!
Sometimes she alone takes some book, sees picture on her own and tell about the picture to us. We always try to capture these kinda moments, but she never caught in! Anyhow check out the below video
