Whats up with Bharatanatyam?

We have brought this cute Shalwar kameez for Thamzihini for her birthday and we wanted to check whether it is in her size. We made her to wear the new one and check out her expressions.
Howz my Bday dress?
She was so happy to wear that Shalwar kameez and more than that she loved that Dupatta. You could see that she was holding her Dupatta with her neck. :P

Amma, Dupatta vizhathu illiya?
Also once she completely wore this dress, she started doing Bharatanatyam steps. Yeah She could relate the costume with Bharatanatyam, as our apt kids used to wear Shalwar kameez while practicing.

Check out her Bharatanatyam steps. Yeah, same old and not much improvement, I guess here kids were on vacation hence Thamizhini could not learn any new steps :P

Collections of the Month

Here it goes this month videos:

I don't know but somehow I got habituated using dryer to dry my hair after head bath. But that is not the topic which I'm gonna post. By seeing me, Thamizhini got to know how to use that. Whenever she bored of all her toys, she directly goes to the place where the dryer kept and takes in hand.  One day I was sitting on the hall and asked her to get comb for me to comb my hair. That day actually I had head bath but did not use dryer to dry my hair. But my cute darling went inside the room and coming back with dryer and comb.

I feel from the month of March, she started talking to much. But in this month her mouth never stopped even while having food. Talking Talking and Taking only. She started saying about what others do like, Ayaah paduthu thoongranga, Amma sapadu ootuunga and so many big words. In the below video she was telling that her dad is clicking Photo.

Thamizhini is again back with "Bharatanatyam". I hope these days, the Apt kids are learning below steps. That is how Thamizhini learns. :P

Check out how Thamizhini and her Dad play Cricket at home. He has brought a bat and ball and from that day, Thamizhini is sleeping, eating, playing with them only.

I think Thamizhini is so expressive in either way, crying mood or happy mood. If she is so happy, comes to me or her Appa and cuddles nicely. Also as she started talking, she always says Love you so much, Amma pidikum / pidikale kinda words. If she does somthing wrong, and if we are angry on her, she says Sorry, Paappa te  va, Thol -mele pottukare, as if she is consoling us. Sometimes she treats us as kid and says  azhathe, paapa te va, toys intha, paal venuma? Check out how she coos with me when she wants something.

Love of Dance

I could still remember that when Thamizhini was three months old, she was paying full attention to sound / noise / music, whatever. Also her legs move very faster to the beats and it is totally depends on the sound. Thamizhni's love of music and dance have been improved and anytime she hears music, she started dancing from where she is standing.

Checkout the video for her performance. Lately she has begun dancing to every bit of music she hears, and tries to do same way how hero / heroins are dancing on TV. Sometimes she will break out into dance without any music too!  My sweet pie loves to dance and it is so adorable to watch it :-)

Wow Wow Dance

Hmm... Even I don't know the meaning of Wowwow! She simply told this and danced. It really did not strike us when she was doing first time, later we thought that we forgot to capture this, so asked her 100 times and finally she did this, but it did not look like the first one.

Dancing Baby

Thamizhini need not have any reason to Dance, if she hear any music or songs, she will start to dance. And these days she is much fascinated to "Daddy Mummy" song from Villu movie. She likes to hear that song over and over and over again and would love to dance.
Wanna Dance???
We capture her dance now and then and we will show it to her. She likes to see herself in mobile and I could see her eyes widen as she listens / sees it. And I'm sure it's a wonderful keepsake for her and no doubt I treasure them.

All her dancing (yeah, funny too) clippings are adorable and we would love to watch them always, No Doubt!!! Check out her Dance style, she would not move from one place but her body shakes for the music. :P

When it is bored inside the house, then next thing that we will do is taking her out. Nalin use to take her to the Car which is parked front side of our flat. She likes to sit inside the car and likes to explore Dashboard. Her Appa will play songs loudly and both Dad & Daughter enjoy music for sometime. Check out the below video how Thamizhini dance for the song just SITTING on the car seat.

As I said, she does not need any reason for dancing. Checkout the below video, she was roaming here and there in the house and once she heard the music from TV, her legs started dancing.

Thamizhini's Interest in Bharatanatyam

We know that kids are very much attracted to Music and its basically some kind of soothing noise or  energetic to keep them on toe and dance. Kids from our apartments learn Bharatanatyam and the teacher comes to our apartment and teach them. The class is scheduled after school hours or in the weekends. It is really a good experience to see them learning Bharatanatyam.

We used to take Thamizhini to park in the evening and sometimes we watch kids learning and practising Bharatanatyam. Thamizhini quietly listens to that Thaalam (or what we have to say for that) "Tha Thai Tha Thai" watch akkas dancing. Later once she come home, she chants that "Tha Thai" day and night. I used to worry that if she make any noise (being 10 months old is really small to understand the word disturbance), that will disturb the kids or distract them from dancing. But to my surprise, she maintained pin drop silence there and just watched them.

Once she started walking and that too walking without any one's help, she started trying steps on her own for "Tha Thai". So these days whenever kids are practising we go and watch them for sometime and now it became routine for us as Thamizhini likes to see them always.

I always wonder what does she think when she sees her own face on the mirror or even these days in camera.  Her Amatha used to dress her nicely and show her to mirror saying that "Wow See how cute dress to Thamizhini" and she liked to see it. Even now she likes to see in mirror and whenever she is fuzzy to dress up , we say her that we will dress and see it in Mirror, then she stays calm for 2 to 3 minutes and allow us to dress her up.  As she know how to see herself in mirror, these days she just go to mirror then talks to herself and does funny things like throwing her hands in air, clapping hands, dancing, blabbering and watch it. I'm sure that she enjoys these activities much these days.

We always capture her funny activities and show her that what she had just done. She likes to watch it from mobile / laptop. Check out the video, she is doing Tha Thai and seeing herself in the mirror. In last few frames you could see that she is excited very much to see herself in mirror dancing. Lovely Baby!

What is next? Let's Dance!

My little darling started walking! So what is next? Yeah! right, she started Dancing too. Wondering!!! These days kids are having much interest in music and dance. Thamizhini was listening to music when she was 3 months old and I could still remember that she was enjoying songs / the soft sounds that were coming out from TV

Now as she grown up and able to walk, she started dancing for the songs. That too, song should be nice to hear and dance. If not, she is not giving interest on it. Check out the video to know how she started dancing even when she was not able to stand properly or even walk properly! and the second part shows the latest :-)
